Bulan

Bulan April 2015 Beautiful Bulan is healthy and going well at Nyaru Menteng. She spends much of her day climbing and swinging around inside the cage. Rambutan fruits are currently in season and they have become a favourite amongst the orangutans.

Bulan in particular is very fond of this delicious tropical Indonesian fruit. Bulan greatly enjoys the different enrichment activities given by the technicians.

She explores all of the different enrichment toys and puzzles but she often struggles to figure them out fully. However the activities keep her mentally and physically active. Her closest orangutan friend is still Nanga.

When evening comes, Bulan prepares her bed earlier than Nanga. She is always excited to receive empty flour sacks to use as blankets from the technicians.
